From The Mouth Of A Gulf War Vet
The other day, I saw a old colleague I hadn't seen for a while at work. He'd gone to Iraq as an engineer for a year.
I told him I was glad he came back in one piece & asked him if he had to go back again. He said he might have to go to Afghanistan. I said I hope he wouldn't have to go.
Then he asked me why we invaded Iraq. I gave my standard answer. I don't know, but that it was a bad idea. I said I knew it would be just like Vietnam with more sand & that I hoped we got out quick.
There you have it, folks. Straight from the mouth of a veteran. We shouldn't be in Iraq.
Someone tell George.
BTW, w. has killed over 2,300 innocent US soldiers in his misguided war to date.
Way to go, George. Mission accomplished...
