The "Downing Street Memo"

Some excerpts:

"It seemed clear that Bush had made up his mind to take military action...But the case was thin." (this memo was dated 2002, a year before w. decided to invade Iraq).

"...the desire for regime change was not a legal base for military action..."

There you have it, folks. w. had no basis for war with Iraq, but went ahead, anyway.
