Army Misses Recruiting Goal
Gee, I wonder why?
Maybe it's because of the unnecessary war in Iraq?
Maybe it's because parents of cannon-fodder age young people don't want to see their children die in vain in Iraq?
Thought so.

Actually, it depends on where you go. The Marine recruiting office I'm at actually turns people away. They send them to the Army, Navy, or Air Force recruiters. It's pretty funny. They have no trouble meeting their goals, and actually have people backed up to be shipped out as far ahead as next February. The Army recruiters next door have the same "problem." They have too many people interested in enlisting. It all depends on where you go.
I just thought this was funny: Maybe it's because parents of cannon-fodder age young people don't want to see their children die in vain in Iraq?
So, cannon-fodder-age young people have children that they're worried about dying in Iraq?
Also, to say that rebuilding a country that we bombed (that's what we're doing now, we got Saddam out and now we're rebuilding) is "working in vain" is an insult to the men and women we have out there.

Parents are smart.
VERY smart.
They know if their kids sign up for the military, they will die in Iraq.
This is why recruiting is down.
It's insulting that w. sent our young people to die in vain for a war that should never have happened.
